New ionically conductive macromolecular materials consisting of a salt in solution in a copolymer of ethylene oxide and of a second unit whose internal structure maintains the integrity of the polymer chain. The invention finds a particularly advantageous application for the production of electrolyte and composite electrodes for primary or secondary electrochemical generators.
