PURPOSE:To optionally alter the speed of the change in the direction of wind from an electric fan, by using a controller to generate an output signal different in intermission per unit time, to apply and cut off electricity for a wind direction changing motor. CONSTITUTION:A controller 14 reads and memorizes the content of a selection concerning the speed of the change in the direction of wind and sends out an ignition signal whose intermission corresponds to the content of the selection. When the ignition signal is applied to the gate 15a of a triode AC switch 15, the switch is turned on so that a half-wave-rectified current flows through a wind direction changing motor 3. When the ignition signal is cut off, the triode AC switch 15 is turned off so that the current vanishes. The rate of electricity supply to the wind direction changing motor can thus be optionally selected to effectively change the direction of wind. |
