PURPOSE:To reduce the abrasion of a flight moving rail and the rail of the flight at the contact part of both rails, by attaching side frames 10 each equipped upper and lower rollers to both sides of the flight in a scraping apparatus for scraping the precipitate or floated substance in a sewage introducing basin. CONSTITUTION:An endless chain 3 is revolved along the bottom part rail 6 and the upper part rail in a sewage or waste water introducing basin and a large number of flights 4 for scraping a precipitate or a floated substance are attached to the chain 3. In this case, side frames 10 each having resin rollers 13 attached to the upper and lower parts thereof are fixed to both side surfaces of each flight 4 by a clamp 14. Because the flight 4 is moved along the rail in such a state that two rollers take partial charge of load, the abrasion of the rail and the roller is reduced and, because the gap B between the flight 4 and the bottom of the introducing basin can be reduced, scraping capacity is enhanced.
