The circulation pump drive is intended to be distinguished by a simple and space-saving construction and is intended to prevent connection errors during installation in the dishwasher. To this end, a connection block (8) is inserted into a recess (7) in a motor bearing cover (6), which connection block (8) has plug contacts (9) or plug sockets which are connected to the motor winding as a correct-position, mechanical and electrical connection to a starting relay (11).
