PURPOSE:To form an image in both original-image projection and formation mode and picture-element light-beam scanning and exposure mode selectively through small-sized, low-cost by constituting both cartridges of an original image projection and formation system and a picture-element light beam scanning and exposure system to load and use selectively in an image forming device body. CONSTITUTION:When the light image exposing means cartridge body B of the original-image projection, formation, and exposure system is loaded in the main machine A, a connector 22 on the side of the main machine A couples with a connector 43 on the side of the cartridge body B to couple electric control signal transmitting circuits on the sides of the main machine A and cartridge body B. When the light image exposing means cartridge body C of the picture-element light-beam scanning and exposure system is loaded in the main body A, a connector 23 on the side of the main machine A couples with a connector 56 of the cartridge body C to couple electric control signal transmitting circuit on the sizes A and C together. Thus, image formation is performed selectively in both modes and the constitution of the whole device is reduced in size, price, and cost. |
