PURPOSE:To enhance memorization ability by forming a phthalocyanine compd. layer on a conductive substrate and on this layer, a poly-N-vinylcarbazole layer contg. an aliphatic halogenated hydrocarbon or the like and a dye. CONSTITUTION:A layer of Mn phthalocyanine(Pc), BaPc, CrCl3Pc, or halogenated Pc of Mn or Ba is formed on a conductive substrate, and on this layer a poly-N-vinylcarazole layer is formed contg. at least one of halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon, halogenated acyl compd., and a hydrogen donor, and a dye, such as methyl violet. The electrophotographic sensitive body having such a structure can be allowed to store an image by imagewise exposure, and a large number of images can be transferred by repeating operations charging and the following operations. The stored conductive latent image can be erased by heating, and the photosensitive body can be reutilized. It is small in change of surface potential and deterioration of image quality occurs little. |
