PURPOSE:After the starting ammonium sulfate from which fine particles are removed off is temporarily stored, it is fed to a couple of screens which are arranged vertically and have different meshes from each other and the ammonium sulfate remaining on both of the screens are recovered whereby high-quality ammonium sulfate for bulk blending is obtained in high recovery yield. CONSTITUTION:The starting ammonium sulfate is fed on the vibrating screen 1 for pretreatment to remove fine particles of less than 20 mesh particle sizes and stored in the bunker for controlling its feed 5. Then, it is fed on a couple of screens which are arranged vertically and have 7-8 mech screen size in the upper 3 and 10-12 mesh in the lower 4 to effect classification and the remainings on individual screens are collected to obtain the objective ammonium sulfate for bulk blending. Thus, the feed of the ammonium sulfate to the vibrating secreens 2 are controlled by means of the bunker 5 to assure the constant feed to stabilize the screening efficiency and give ammonium sulfate for bulk blending of uniform quality.
