摘要 The invention relates to a caterpillar adjustment device with three or more caterpillars which are arranged on the circumference of the pipe and are suspended in oscillating brackets swinging on their central transverse axis and form a parallelogram of link bars with damping struts. <??>The aim is, during the start-up process of pipe lines to avoid the overloading of the individual drives of the caterpillars as a consequence of an imbalance of forces caused by dimensional and positional deviations of the pipe. <??>The object is to provide a load-compensating device for the lower caterpillars. This is achieved by a swinging connection of the lower caterpillars, the oscillating brackets of which are connected via transition pieces and joints to a traverse. The joints are connected to longitudinally movable, rotatable slide pieces which are mounted in the cylinders of the traverse. The traverse is pivotable centrally about a spindle nut transversely to the direction of extrusion. The spindle nut receives a spindle which is pivotable in the direction of extrusion in a fork. The transverse pieces are adjustable horizontally and vertically in conjunction with the spindle via an upper and lower cable drive. <??>The invention can be used for the take-off of extruded pipes. <IMAGE>
