PURPOSE:To make a multicylinder misfire detectable, by securing an ignition signal out of a high tension cord of each cylinder or an ignition device and thereby judging on whether or not it is in a misfiring state with a misfire detector alone, while portioning out the misfire signal to each cylinder by means of a multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:In time of misfiring, a misfire signal generated out of a misfire detector 12 is portioned out to each cylinder by a multiplexer 14. A select switch uses a synchronous select signal of an each cylinder ignition synchronizing circuit 13 as its control signal, therefore the select switch is changed over. The distributed signal by cylinders is indicated by an indicator 15 by cylinder whereby a misfire in an ignition system of each cylinder is found out. With this constitution, any misfire in plural cylinders can be detected with one unit of the misfire detector. |
