Blind as thermal-insulation and noise-insulation device

A blind in front of the outside wall of a building acts as thermal insulation and noise insulation as the heat exchange between building and surroundings is made more difficult and the sound waves from noise sources outside the building are damped. If, instead of the conventional opaque blind, a blind is used, the essential components of which are transparent, an additional thermal insulation and noise insulation can be achieved with such closed blinds even during the day, the rooms lying behind not being restricted in their use. By means of textured surfaces, it is avoided that the rooms behind the transparent blind can be seen into from outside.
