PURPOSE:To achieve a higher accuracy of a timepiece circuit by driving a receiving circuit before a time tone is broadcast to set time on the time tone. CONSTITUTION:As soon as output of a timer circuit 63 for counting a one-sec clock of a microcomputer 60 reaches a set time, for example, 23:59, a power switch 68 is controlled through a CPU67 and an output circuit 65 and a source power is supplied to a broadcast radio wave receiving circuit 42 and a time tone detection means 43 to drive them before the time tone is broadcast. Time tone informing signal and a time tone are detected with a circuit 42 and a means 43. Simultaneously with the detection of the time tone, the contents of a memory 66 for counting time are rewritten at the noon through the CPU67 while the supply of the source power via the switch 68 is interrupted. This automatic time correction at each time tone can improve the accuracy of a timepiece circuit. |
