PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic alloy of high magnetic permeability, high magnetic flux density and high resistivity by adding specified amounts of Si and other elements to permendur which is an Fe-Co-V alloy. CONSTITUTION:0.5-4% Si and 0.01-1% one or more among W, Ti, Nb and Zr are added to permendur consisting of 0.01-0.03% C, 1-4% V, 35-50% Co and the balance Fe. A fine-grained magnetic alloy of high magnetic permeability is obtd. The alloy has increased resistance, high flowability, superior castability, 50muOMEGA.cm resistivity and a small eddy-current loss. |
