Supporting and running roller device for sliding doors

The supporting and running roller of a sliding-door element, in particular a shower partition, is mounted vertically adjustably on the element by means of an eccentric disc, so that the sliding-door element can be aligned. Adjustment takes place solely by the rotation of the eccentric disc, and a catch retention which can jump over during the adjustment guarantees that the setting finally obtained is preserved during the subsequent use of the sliding door. One of the two catch elements belonging to the catch retention consists of at least one resilient arm which engages with its toothed portion into a corresponding catch toothing which engages on the circumference of the constructional part having the eccentric disc. Preferably, on both sides of the axis of adjustment of the eccentric disc there are arms which are in one piece with the roller holder to be mounted releasably on the sliding door and which have the desired spring property centrally because they are clamped at the ends. The arms are equipped there with the toothing which engages mirror-symmetrically to the axis of adjustment into the continuous circumferential toothing of a flanged disc in one piece with the eccentric disc. The flanged disc also contains the recess for the adjusting tool.
