PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of an Al or Al alloy blank material to an adhesive agent by roughening physically the surface of said material to form a finely rugged surface, and subjecting the surface to an anodizing treatment in a specific temp. range thereby making said surface porous. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an Al or Al alloy blank material is physically roughened by a shot blasting, sandblasting or other methods to form a finely rugged surface. Such physically surface-roughened Al or Al alloy material is subjected to a pretreatment such as defatting, etching, neutralizing or the like according to need and is thereafter subjected to an anodizing treatment at 25- 60 deg.C by using an aq. soln. contg. 10-15% sulfuric acid and an aq. soln. contg. 1-10% phosphoric acid as an anodizing soln. The finely rugged surface is thus made porous and the adhesiveness of said material to an adhesive agent is improved.
