Catalytically reaction resin compositions which can be processed in screen printing, having a viscosity curable in the range of between 5000 and 25,000 mPa.s, consisting of 60 to 75 wt.% of an epoxidised novolak of the general formula <IMAGE> (0 </= m </= 3 and 1 </= n </= 5; R1 = H or alkyl; R2 = dihydroxypropyl or a polypropylene glycol radical and R3 = epoxypropyl), 0.5 to 2 wt.% of a substituted imidazole of the general formula <IMAGE> (R1 = cyanoalkyl; R2 = H, alkyl or phenyl; R3 = H or alkyl), 3 to 5 wt.% of colloidal silicon dioxide, 7 to 12 wt.% of a mixture of calcium carbonate and barium sulphate, 0.25 to 2 wt.% of a levelling agent, a liquid diluent and optionally 1 to 7 wt.% of glass microbeads. They can be converted, by warming, into a B state which is tack-free at room temperature and re-meltable at elevated temperatures. The reaction resin composition in the B state can be crosslinked at elevated temperatures to form a moulded material which is resistant to acid and alkaline electrolytes and adheres well to glass/carbon substrates. The reaction resin compositions are particularly suitable for edge-bonding of parallel plates for producing cavities for accommodating liquid, pasty or solid electrolytes.
