PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate information read signal by providing a part to be guided in the side of an objective frame and forming a guiding part, which slides and guides the part to be guided in the side of a holding device main body and driving an objective in the prescribed direction. CONSTITUTION:A lens frame 3 is provided with a guide pin 25 as the part to be guided which is projected in a track direction A on the opposite side of a bobbin 12, and a guide hole 26b as the guiding part where the guide pin 25 is inserted to a side wall 26a is provided in a holding device body 26. If a beam does not trace accurately on the track of a disc when an optical information reader is used, a tracking servo signal is detected. A current is flowed to a coil 11 in accordance with this signal value to drive the objective frame 3 storing an objective 2. In this case, the guide pin 25 stuck to the objective frame 3 is slided on an incide circumferential face 26c of the guide hole 26b and is guided, and the objective 2 is not driven in other directions but is driven in the desired track direction A. Thus, the beam traces accurately on the track to perform the tracking servo well. |
