Floor part (10) for receiving bottles (champagne bottles 19) horizontally in packaging units (surrounding carton 29) with a number of support elements (11) corresponding to the number of champagne bottles (19). To simplify manufacture and the tools required, the floor part (10) is made up of a blank (16) comprising a floor panel (12) and at least two opposite side panels (13) attached to the floor panel (12) and having blank parts (17) formed from the floor panel (12) and the side panels (13). These blank parts (17) extend diagonally from the side panels (13), when the latter are erected, projecting inwardly to the floor panel (12), forming the support elements (11). The effect of the support elements (11) is such that the bottle necks (20) rest on the support elements (11), while the bottle bodies (21) in each case lie in a fitting manner between adjacent support elements (11). <IMAGE>
