PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth coating film excellent in external appearance without the deterioration of a physical property in a very short curing time, by heating a coated body under a specified condition to let paint flow and then to evaporate a solvent, prior to treating the titled composition with chemical rays. CONSTITUTION:A coated body to which a photocuring coating composition an organic solvent has been applied is heated in a ventilating atmosphere having the minimum speed of exhaustion to the extent that the vapor of the solvent does not reach an explosion limit. Hence, the coating film is heated without forming a wind stream and scattering the solvent to the possible extent, so that the paint is let sufficiently flow while lowering its viscosity. Thereafter, the coated body is treated with hot air to remove the solvent, and then the paint is cured with irradiation of ultraviolet or the like.
