The invention relates to a video game, especially a car-racing game, in which the seated player actuates a steering wheel, an accelerator pedal and possibly a brake pedal, and gear shift, depending on the course of the game as visible to him on a screen. The object of the invention is to simulate the arrangement of the game and of the actuating levers or members in such a manner that the player receives the direct impression that he is inside a moving car. The manner in which this object is achieved is that the player's seat is the driving seat which is positioned within at least the front part of a car body, and the course of the game is displayed in the region of the windscreen.
