PURPOSE:To carry out the working of a bearing hole with a high degree of accuracy, by attaching a boring tool to an eccentric device fitted to a main spindle, through a stylus holder so that this tool is associated with the movement of a stylus on the above-mentioned holder, which is cooperated with a master cam. CONSTITUTION:A boring tool 2 having its front end provided with a cutting tool 4 is fitted through a stylus holder 8, by means of bolts 9, to an eccentric device 2 attached to a main spindle 1 which is journalled rotatably and retractably in the axial direction thereof. The eccentric device 2 is formed with a slit 2a by which the tool 3 may be made eccentric while the center axis thereof is always maintained in parallel with the center axis of the main spindle 1. Meanwhile a master cam 5 having a contour, along its peripheral surface, complementary to the shape of a piston pin hole 11a in a work 11, is removably fixed to a master cam holder 6 by means of a fixture 10. Further, the eccentric device 2 is rotated while it is made eccentric in accordance with the countour of the cam 5 due to the engagement between the stylus 7 and the cam 5. |
