PURPOSE:To reinforce sloped ground in a short period by a method in which a grass-planting mat having a water-passing mat on its bottom side, a perforated plate on its surface side, and a soil-receiving rib on the surface of the perforated plate is laid on a sloped ground, and soil is placed on the surface of the grass- planting mat. CONSTITUTION:A sloped ground 10 is leveled off, and a grass-planting mat 1 is laid on the surface of the sloped ground 10 by turning its water-passing mat 2 downwards and fixed by anchors 11. Soil 13 mixed with fertilizer and seeds 12 is sprayed onto the surface of the mat 1 and soil 13 is packed into the space between soil-receiving ribs 4. Since the water-passing mat 2 becomes layered on the bottom of the mat 1 to form a pathway for underground water, the run- off of the soil 13 can be prevented. Also, since the soil 13 and the seeds 12 are mixed and packed into the space between the soil-receiving ribs 4, the run-off of the seeds by rain water, etc., can be avoided, and greens-planting work having a necessary density as expected can be obtained.
