PURPOSE:To improve the workability of fixing and removing of a heat exchanger by a method wherein the size of a side plate at a counter header is made larger than the side plate of the header of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular holes 3b, 4b of the right and left frames are made larger than the side plate of the header of a heat exchanger in the same manner as the conventional system the side plate 2d at a counter header is made to show the approximate same size as that of the rectangular hole. The unit assembled in this way is performed such that the side plate 2c is inserted from the header side along an edge of the frame rectangular hole 3b, then the heat exchanger is slid laterally to insert the side plate 2d of the counter header into the rectangular hole 4b and fixed by a pusher plate 5. Since the side plate 2d is made in a size which is approximately the same as the rectangular hole 4b, a scarce clearance is made between the side plate 2d and the rectangular holes 4b, resulting in that a stopping plate for pushing the side plate 2d is not necessary. |
