<p>1. Improved fastener (100) made in one piece for fixing an externally threaded element (134) such as a screw onto a panel (44, 112) or the like through the medium of an oblong opening (130) provided through this panel, this fastener being of the kind comprising a base (104) extended by at least one resilient arm (102) folded back to form with the base a clip suitable for clamping the edge of the panel, the said base including an elongated opening (114) as well as two resilient legs (118, 120) which extend from the base on either side of this opening and then draw nearer above the base so that the free limb edges (117, 119) of the legs define there between an elongated space in substantial alignment with the elongated opening of the base, characterized in that the free edges (117, 119) of the legs and the opposite edges of the elongated opening (114) comprise a plurality of portions in shape of arcuate notches (124, 126, 127, 128) facing each other in axial alignment with each other in order that the threaded element (134) come in screwing engagement with two arcuate notches (124, 126, 127, 128) of the elongated opening (114) and then with two corresponding arcuate notches (124, 126) between the free edges (117, 119) of the resilient legs.</p> |
