PURPOSE:To prevent the effect of oils or a plasticizer penetrating from the back side without providing any back-coat layer, by a method wherein a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer formed from an aqueous emulsion containing carboxyl- modified polyvinyl alcohol is used as an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:In a releasable paper wherein a thermal color forming layer comprising a leuco dye and a color developer is provided on the face side of a base and a releasable base paper is provided on the back side of the base through an adhesive layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed from an aqueous emulsion containing carboxyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol is used as the adhesive layer. Accordingly, since the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer intermediately provided between the releasable base paper and the back side of the base is provided with a shielding property against penetration of a plasticizer, oils or the like, it is unnecessitated to provide any back-coat layer on the back side of the base, productivity of the article is enhanced that much, and ground fogging can be prevented from occurring. |
