PURPOSE:To prevent burning an emptied boiler by a method wherein a heating member is controlled automatically by determining whether or not a liquid is present in the boiler on the base of the output of an anticorrosive potential difference measuring means. CONSTITUTION:The potential difference between an anticorrosive electrode 3 connected to a positive terminal VSS through a resistor 10, and the boiler 4 is measured by a pressure difference measuring means 11, the presence of the liquid in the boiler 4 is judged by a dry burning judging means 12 on the base of the output of the potential difference meassuring means 11 and the heating member 8 is controlled by a heating member control means 13 on the base of the result of judgement by the judging means 12. In this case, the judgement of burning emptied boiler and the control of the heating member 8 are made through a microcomputer. |
