PURPOSE:To attain free communication by multi-address function even in case no address is known nor providing an address control station in a data communication system having a process address in addition to a device address. CONSTITUTION:For communication between a process 3-7 within a device 2-3 and a process 3-1 within a device 2-1, a communication request command including the names of these processes and addresses of these devices is transmitted. Receiving this command, each device checks whether the requested process exists within its own device. If the relevant process exists, the device 2-1 gives an information to the process 3-1. Then the process 3-1 transmits its own process name, an address and its own device address and informs these addresses to the command originating station. |
