PURPOSE:To enable damage of saw blades to be automatically detected during cutting operation by detecting any vibration generated ina saw feed cylinder part during saw blade cutting, and judging the sawblade damage while analyzing frequency of said detected vibration. CONSTITUTION:A saw blade 2 is attached to the main shaft of a reduction gear 1. And, one side of the reduction gear 1 is pivotted with respect to a supporting shaft 5, and the other side thereof is supported on a saw-feed cylinder 3 via a supporting shaft 6. Further, a vibration sensor 4 is mounted on the upper portion of the supporting shaft 6, and electrically connected to a high-pass filter 8, a filter, and a judging device 9 for analyzing and judging a waveform sent through an amplifier 7. Hereby, vibration generated in the saw-feed cylinder 3 at workpiece cutting by the saw blade 2 is detected by the vibration sensor 4, and frequency of said detected vibration is analyzed by the judging device 9. Namely, it is judged, after vibration due to a sawteeth pitch is removed from the waveform of the damaged saw blade 2, whether a distance of one pitch is equivalent to the number of revolutions of the saw blade 2 or not. |
