<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna driving device which can eliminates the position error of footprint from an observation error by unfolding an antenna to move the position of the footprint after measuring directly the position of the footprint from a reflected radio wave. CONSTITUTION:The reference frequency signal of an original oscillator 8 is modulated with the signal sent from a modulated signal source 9 and by an amplitude modulator 10 and then modulated into a high frequency by a modulator 12 with a local frequency sent from a local oscillator 11. This high frequency signal is amplified by a power amplifier 13 and radiated from an antenna 2 of an artificial satellite via a circulator 14. The radio wave reflected on the surface of the earth is received by the antenna 2 with reduction of the frequency band performed by a signal receiver 16 and then supplied to a Doppler filter 17. A signal within a specific frequency range undergoes wave detection and is turned into a signal containing the distance information by a phase wave detector 19. A motor driver 21 is used to drive a motor 22 and the unfold the antenna 2 so that the difference is set at zero between the signal containing the distance information and the input of the desired footprint position information.</p> |
