<p>Compounds of the general formula (I> <IMAGE> (wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a straight chain C1-3 alkyl group and n is 1 or 2, and physiologically acceptable acid addition salts, solvates and metabolically labile esters thereof) of use in the treatment of heart failure, cardiogenic shock or ischaemic heart disease. Also disclosed are compounds of general formula (XV> <IMAGE> (wherein n is 1 or 2, R<2>, R<3>, R<4> and R<5> each represent a hydrogen atom or a protecting group and R<8> represents a carboxyl group, or a salt or C1-5 alkyl ester thereof) which are of value as intermediates.</p> |
