PURPOSE:To execute easily a tracking of an object by a position which is varied every moment, by retrieving an output from a picture detector in the vertical and horizontal directions, and detecting a position of the object from a line and a row whose detected picture output is ''0''. CONSTITUTION:A picture in a detecting range S of the front of an automatic cash handling device is inputted to an image sensor 101. The sensor 101 executes a retrieval in the vertical and horizontal directions, detects an area surrounded by a line and a row whose output becomes ''0'', and catches customers C1, C2. An output of the sensor 101 is video-amplified 102, inputted to a video RAM103, and when one picture portion is ended, it is transferred successively to plural data RAMs 104. Basing on a data of the data RAM104, (n) pieces of work RAMs 106 track a movement of the customers C1, C2, and state signals S1-S3 are inputted to a sub-controller S-CPU43 through an interface 107. The state signals S1-S3 and the customer's operation advancing state are discriminated, and when there is no abnormality, the transaction processing is executed, but in case when there is a doubt, the transaction processing is suspended. In this way, a customer's safety can be secured. |
