PURPOSE:To obtain a good starting property without employing an electromagnetic generator by a method wherein an electric current, supplied to an ignition coil, is supplied by controlling a position whereat conduction from the electric source of batteries is begun in accordance with the revolving number of the engine by employing a transistor. CONSTITUTION:The current, supplied to the ignition coil 9, is supplied from the electric source of batteries through the transistor 8 by controlling the conduction beginning position by a pulser 1 in accordance with the revolution number of the engine. The engine is ignited at a timing determined by a start correcting circuit 3 showing a substantially constant ignition timing from the starting to first predetermined revolution number of the engine, then, the engine is ignited at the timing determined by a spark advance circuit 4, advancing the spark angle in accordance with the revolving number of the engine from the first to the second predetermined revolving number of the engine and, thereafter, the engine is ignited at the maximum spark advance position of the output signal of the pulser 1 until the third predetermined revolving number, while the engine is ignited at the timing determined by a spark delaying circuit 5 delaying the ignition position in accordance with the revolution number when the revolution number of the engine is higher than the third predetermined revolution number of the engine. According to this method, a big spark energy may be obtained without employing the electromagnetic generator, the starting property of the engine may be improved and a sufficient output may be obtained in a high speed range. |
