PURPOSE:To enable the production of fine strips of fish paste product, by placing a pair of rollers each having a number of ring grooves in a staggered manner, and setting the depth and pitch of the incisions applied to the fish paste web to be smaller and the delivery speed of the web to be faster at the downdream. CONSTITUTION:n-Sets of upper-roller slitters and lower-roller slitters are arranged vertically from the top downward wherein the r-th stage (1<=r<=n) upper- roller slitters 1, 4 composed of a pair of rollers 2, 2, 5, 5 each having a number of ring grooves 3, 6 are placed in a staggered manner and the (r+1)-th stage lower-roller slitters 4, 7 composed of a pair of rollers 5, 5, 8, 8 having a number of ring grooves 6, 9 are placed in a staggered manner. The depth T1, T2 or the pitch P1, P2 and the depth T1, T2 of the incisions 11, 12 applied to a fish paste web are set to be larger than the depth T1, T2 or the pitch P1, P2 and the depth T1, T2 of the incisions 12, 13, and the delivery speed of the slitter 1, 4 is set to be equal to or somewhat higher than that of the slitter 4, 7. |
