PURPOSE:To permit the transmission of a larger power in comparison with the conventional roller chain and belt, etc., by transmitting the power to a driven shaft by utilizing the thrust of an independent rotary body which travels along a guide. CONSTITUTION:When a sprocket 2 installed and fixed onto a driving shaft 3 is revolved, each rotary body 1 fitted into each sprocket groove 8 is pushed forward by the teeth 7 of the sprocket 2 and pushes forward the front rotary body 1 further, and said rotary body 1 travels in the groove 6 of a guide 5, and at last the rotary body 1 is engaged with the sprocket groove 8 of a driven shaft 4 and revolves the sprocket 2, under traveling in the groove 6. |
