发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CRUDE ALUMINUM ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable practicability of producing an Al-Si-Fe alloy by transferring all the charges which are added with coal and are made liquid at a low temp. in the 1st furnace into the 2nd furnace, reducing the unreduced materials with carbon and adding a slag forming agent to decrease the m. p. of lime. CONSTITUTION:Raw ores contg. Al2O3, SiO2 and Fe2O3, a reducing agent such as carbon, briquettes contg. CaO of the amt. conforming to the content of Al2O3 and fuel coke are charged into a blast furnace 1 as the 1st furnace, and the air enriched with oxygen or O2 is supplied into the furnace to burn the fuel. All the charges are made liquid at 1,500-2,000 deg.C and the respective liquid materials of the slag-component of Al2O3+CaO and the metal part of Fe-Si are received in a ladle 2, from which said materials are charged into a converter 3. Fuel, pulverized coal for reducing Al2O3, a slag forming agent such as CaF2 for decreasing the m. p. of CaO after reduction of Al2O3 are blown together with O2 into the converter 3 to form an Al-Si-Fe alloy in the lower part and CaO-CaF2- Al2O3 in the upper part respectively in a liquid state. The raw ores are reduced by carbon at 2,000-2,300 deg.C in the above-mentioned way and a crude Al alloy is produced.
