PURPOSE:To realize a managing system by which it is unnecessary to execute a management of a dictionary by an applied program, and a structure of the applied program is simplified, by executing unitedly a management of a dictionary by a management program. CONSTITUTION:A management of a dictionary is executed unitedly by a management program. For instance, when a ''KANA'' (Japanese syllabary) - ''KANJI'' (Chinese character) conversion using start macro 61 is issued to a management program 7 from an applied program 6, whether a storage medium for a dictionary is set to a floppy disk device as a check processing 71 of a dictionary or not is checked. Subsequently, in case when the storage medium is set, a definition processing 72 of a dictionary is executed by informing a key information of a dictionary to a ''KANA'' - ''KANJI'' conversion control program 8, the control is returned to the applied program 6, and thereafter, a monitoring processing 73 of a state of the dictionary is executed. Subsequently, a read processing 81 of a dictionary key part is executed by the ''KANA'' - ''KANJI'' conversion control program 8, and thereafter, a Japanese language input processing 82 by a ''KANA'' - ''KANJI'' conversion is executed and the dictionary is brought to access through the key information.
