摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To produce olefin selectively from hydrocarbon with a high yield, by burning the hydrocarbon in the presence of steam and oxygen in an amount insufficient for combustion, supplying additional batches of methane and hydrogen required for the reaction and performing thermal cracking of the hydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION:A part of fuel hydrocarbon 1 is burned in a combustor 2 in the presence of steam to produce a stream of hydrogen-containing high-temperature combustion gas 6 at 1,400-3,000 deg.C. The gas stream 6 from the combustor 2 which contains hydrogen and steam is mixed with recycled methane and hydrogen supplied through a line 29 and the mixture is introduced into a reactor 8, where a raw material hydrocarbon 7 pressurized to a predetermined level by a feed pump 28 is mixed with the stream of high-temperature combustion gas which contains methane, hydrogen and steam and is heated quickly by the high- temperature gas. As a result, thermal cracking reaction takes place in the reactor 8 under the action of hydrogen, methane and steam to produce a reaction fluid 9 with a high olefin content.</p>
