VERFAHREN ZUR KONTINUIERLICHEN THERMISCHEN UMWANDLUNG VON GASFOERMIGEN UND/ODER FLUESSIGEN ABFALLSTOFFEN

The process gives continuous thermal conversion of gaseous and/or liquid waste by burning vapour, liquid, or oxidising gas and using the generated heat. All waste streams involved in the conversion are divided into an equal number of partial streams, which are mixed together and the resultant combustible streams are ignited. The gas streams of higher temperature are mixed with the partial ones for conversion, and all waste involved in the reaction is caused to flow until the reaction is complete. Preferably the partial streams are restricted to a cross section of 3 to 30 sq. cm prior to ignition. Pure technical oxygen or with oxygen enriched air, may be used for the conversion.
