PURPOSE:To prevent the local temperature rise of a coil due to a foreign material in a coolant by mounting a spring of shape memory alloy in a cooling panel, through which the coolant is flowed therein in a foil-wound transformer. CONSTITUTION:A foiled conductor 2 and an insulating sheet 3 are superposed on the outside of a core 1 and wound to form a coil unit, and an annular cooling panel 6 is provided in the coil. The panel 6 has a narrow gap therein, is connected to a liquid collecting tube 15 by an insulating pipe 15, coolant 10 is flowed by a pump 11, thereby absorbing the heat generated in the coil. A spring 18 of a shape memory alloy is provided in a cooling panel 19, a foreign material is accumulated in the panel 19, and even if the flow of the coolant is disturbed, this part is locally raised at the temperature to spread the panel by the shape stored in the spring and to flow the coolant. |
