摘要 PURPOSE:To permit to improve the drivability of the engine in the process of warming-up of the engine by a method wherein the correcting value of spark advance angle, showing a deviation between the spark advance angle in accordance with the process of warm-up and a basic spark advance angle, is determined so as to be corresponding to the integrated value of the revolving number of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 44, consisting of micro-computers, determines the basic spark advance angles in various operating conditions so as to be corresponding to the revolving number of the engine, detected by a crank angle sensor 42, and the amount of suction air, detected by a suction vacuum or airflow meter 12. The spark advance angle correcting value, showing the deviation between the spark advance angle adapted to the operating conditions from the time of cold engine to the warming-up of the engine, which are decided by a water temperature sensor 34, and the basic spark advance angle, is determined so as to be corresponding to the integrated value of the revolving number of the engine. When the revolving number of the cold engine has exceeded a set revolving number, the basic spark advance angle, determined by the revolving number of the engine and the vacuum of a suction pipe or the amount of suction air, is corrected in accordance with the integration of the revolving number and the ignition timing is controlled by the corrected basic spark advance angle. According to this method, the drivability under the warming-up process of the engine may be improved.
