PURPOSE:To obtain an Ni alloy with superior stress corrosion cracking resistance by adding Cr, Fe and other specified elements to Ni. CONSTITUTION:This Ni alloy with superior stress corrosion cracking resistance consists of, by weight, 0.01-0.05% C, <0.5% Si, <1% Mn, 14-17% Cr, 5-10% Fe, 2.25-2.75% Ti, 0.4-1.00% Al, 0.7-1.20% Nb, 0.01-0.03% P and the balance Ni. 2-10% Mo and/or 0.003-0.06% Mg may be added besides said components. Mo combined with P further improves the stress corrosion cracking resistance, and Mg improves the plastic workability of the alloy.
