PURPOSE:To provide an adhesive compsn. having excellent adhesiveness and resistance to oil and water, consisting of a specified copolymer, a polycondensate between a polyhydric phenol and formaldehyde and a methylol-substituted or etherified aminotriazine. CONSTITUTION:10-400pts.wt. polycondensate having a softening point of 70- 120 deg.C between formaldehyde (F) and a polyhydric phenol (P) (a molar ratio of F/P of 0.4-1.0), 8-520pts.wt. methylol-substituted or etherified aminotriazine having at least two amino groups, such as methylol formoguanamine, 0.5- 5pts.wt. sulfur and 0.5-10pts.wt. vulcanization accelerator such as 2-mercaptobenzothiazol are blended with 100pts.wt. copolymer contg. acrylonitrile as a structural component and having C-C unsaturated double bonds, a nitrile content of 20- 45wt% and an MW of at least 10,000, such as an acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer. The mixture is dissolved in a solvent.
