PURPOSE:To attain the maximum efficiency for the removal of powder from the wall surface of a chamber with minimum energy consumption, by blasting compressed gas from a nozzle toward the surface of a wall in a manner to form a slant elliptical blasted part on the surface, and transferring the nozzle to lap the scanned surface with each other. CONSTITUTION:The blasting pipe 4 is attached above the pipe axis 2 of the chamber 1 parallel to the wall surface of the chamber 1. The blasting pipe 4 is furnished with holes 11, and a metallic cylinder 13 having slantly bored nozzle 14 is inserted in each hole 11. The diameter of the nozzle is e.g. 2-3mm. and the angle (beta) between the nozzle and the chamber wall is e.g. 30 deg.C. The compressed gas blasted through the nozzle forms a slant elliptical blasted part on the chamber wall, and the scanned surfaces are overlapped with each other by moving the nozzle. Accordingly, the maximum removal efficiency can be attained with minimum energy consumption.
