PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a reversing transfer apparatus and to simplify the maintenance and control for the apparatus by providing transfer rollers disposed opposite to each other inside an intermediate member for retaining and coupling rotary wheels parallel to each other and at a fixed space therebetween with a connecting member which can be engaged and disengaged with and from a roller driving source disposed outside. CONSTITUTION:When a mold 25 is carried in the above apparatus, a rotating drivng source 2 is first operated to rotate a rotary wheel 3 in a 180 deg. arc through a chain pulley 26 and a chain 27. Secondly, a reciprocating cylinder 10 is operated to move a roller driving source 7 to the left, thereby engaging a connecting member, a convex coupling 8 with a concave coupling 24. Whereupon, a shaft 21 is rotated to rotate a transfer roller 6 through transmitting means 23, 22, 29, 16, 15, 30 and a roller 14, thereby transferring the mold 25 to the outside of the apparatus. Subsequently, when a new mold 25 is carried in the apparatus, the rotating driving source 2 is again operated to rotate the rotary wheel 3 in a 180 deg. arc, so that a connecting member, a concave coupling 20 is engaged with the convex coupling 8. In this arrangement, the maintenance and control can be easily conducted. |
