PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain stable image quality, by making the supply capacity of a supply means, which supplies magnetic ink in the slit between a protruded magnet and an elastic member, larger than the supply capacity at the time of recording only for a definite time at least prior to starting recording. CONSTITUTION:When recording is performed after a definite time is elapsed from the completion of printing, a supply pump 7 is operated for a difinite time before recording is started by a flow control means 8 and mgnetic ink 5 is injected from the leading end of a recording needle 1. The stream of this magnetic ink 5 enters the slit A formed by a protruded magnet 3 and an elastic member 14 to elastically deform the elastic member 14 to winden the interval of the slit A while said ink 5 is flowed between conc. magnetic ink 5a and the elastic member 14 to wash off the conc. magnetic ink 5a adhered in the vicinity of the part of the slit A and the leading end of the recording needle 1 and recovered in a tank 6 through a recovery passage 10 along with said ink 5a. By this method, a protrusion is properly formed by the non-conc. magnetic ink and stable image quality is obtained. |
