PURPOSE:To execute uniform caulking in a short time without generating a noise by hitting the end part of a lead pipe with a group of electromagnetic hammers having a conical face so that its end part is brought close to the outside diameter of the part to be connected, in case of caulking both ends of a cable connecting lead pipe. CONSTITUTION:A lead pipe held by lead pipe holders 21, 22 of drooping rotary devices 12-25 is inserted into conical faces 8a, 9a of hitting bodies 8, 9 containing an electromagnet slid and fitted to fixed bodies 6, 7 containing an electromagnet fitted and fixed to shafts 2, 3. By an electromagnetic repulsing operation, as for the conical faces 8a, 9a, the lead pipe end is caulked uniformly by hitting the end part of the lead pipe, and by rotation of the lead pipe holders 21, 22. In this regard, the angle of the conical faces 8a, 9a is adjusted by moving upward and downward the ends of the shafts 2, 3 by a jack 4. In this way, the caulking time is shortened, the finish becomes uniform, and no noise is generated, therefore, a cable connecting work is improved remarkably. |
