PURPOSE:To register correctly an input picture to a recorder by comparing the number of lines of a read picture signal with the number of lines of the picture signal after recording and registering regularly a recording picture when the difference of both the numbers is a prescribed value or below. CONSTITUTION:A picture data transmitted from a reader is inputted to a picture data buffer memory 11. In this case, the number of lines of a read original is counted at a line counter 12 and the count value is stored in a memory 14 via an MPU13. The picture data inputted to the memory 11 is transmitted to a recorder 9 using an optical disc, encoded at an encoding circuit 15 and recorded on an optical disc device 16. The recorded picture data is decoded at each line by a decoding circuit and the number of lines without error is counted by a counter 19. The MPU13 compares the count value of the memory 14 with the count value of the counter 19, and when the difference of them is within a prescribed range, the MPU13 gives a command to a controller 20 that the picture data is registered regularly to the device 16. |
