PURPOSE:To uniformize the supply amount of dampening water to a roller, by surrounding a plurality of spray nozzles by an upper and lower flat hoods each having a traversely long opening part at a place facing to the surface of the roller while, if necessary, providing a spray amount control piece in the vicinity to each opening part. CONSTITUTION:Above the surface of the roller 1 of a planographic printing press, an apparatus for spraying and supplying moisture such as water or alcohols from a plurality of spray nozzles 2 provided in parallel to the axial line of the roller 1 so as to leave a constant interval from said roll by air pressure is constituted. A plurality of the spray nozzles 2 are surrounded by an upper and a lower fault hoods 4 each having a traversely long opening part at a place facing to the surface of the roller 1 and, if necessary, a spray amount control piece 5 is provided in the vicinity of each opening part 3 and the spray amount at the places where the spray nozzles 2 are provided is dispersed left and right to perform the uniform supply of dampening water to the entire surface of the roller 1. |
