摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce consumption of electric power and to obtain a display image high in luminance by using a straight tube type fluorescent lamp provided with a reflective film on the side reverse to the side facing a liquid crystal plate as a light source. CONSTITUTION:An illumination device 7 provided with a built-in fluorescent lamp 6 is arranged on the backside of a display part 5 consisting of a liquid crystal plate 1. A reflective film 10 is formed on at least half or more of the outer circumference of the glass tube 8 of the lamp 6. Therefore, consumption of power is saved, and an image of high luminance is obtained.
