PURPOSE:To switch a photographing distance range rapidly by stopping a lens at the end part of a selected photographing distance range and displaying the focusing direction when the end part is in a state enabled to discriminate the focusing position even if the end part is a non-focused state. CONSTITUTION:If a subject exceeds a distance B2-B4 and moves in the infinite direction when a photographing lens is driven between the distance B2-B4, the photographing lens reaches a position corresponding to B4. At that time, an L level signal is inputted to a terminal T1 and both outputs of comparators 160, 161 are turned to the H level. A NAND 1 generates an H level output on the basis of said H level signals and an H level signal from a NOR 1 and a motor stops to stop the driving of the photograhing lens. Since a light emitting diode turns on and front pin status is displayed even if the photographing lens is stopped, the photographer can know the switching of the photographing member to another distance range F. Consequently, the focusing status can be obtained quickly. |
