The invention relates to a flow meter for compressed gases. It comprises a body 1 which is assembled in a manner which is leaktight to the fluids with an elongate chamber 2 containing a transparent tube 24 in which there may move a piston 25 whose position inside the tube indicates the flow rate of a gas in this tube. Mounting the body 1 in a fluid flow pipe 21, and mounting the device 23 for indicating the flow rate in the body 1 allows easy and rapid, partial or total exchange of this flow meter. Field of application: compressed-gas circuits, in particular those using compressed air. <IMAGE>
